average and an outstanding disciplinary record are encouraged to apply for NHS. Students need to be recommended by a core subject teacher (math,
English, social sciences or science classes).

NHS Spring Leadership Convention

DONATIONS NEEDED
Hale will
be hosting the National Honor Society Spring Leadership
Convention for the first time, in April, 2007. We
are expecting 22 Oklahoma high schools to be represented at
the convention, with approximately 250 attendees.

S is looking for donations of Pencils, Legal Pads,
Pens,
Erasers, Plastic Bags (to hold the goodies), and any
freebies that we can give away to the approximate 250 young
scholars who will attend the Spring Convention here
at Hale on April 5, 2007.
Ideas
include stress balls, bumper stickers from local businesses
or colleges, key chains, t-shirts, gift certificates, etc. We also need help
sponsoring a hospitality room for the many
sponsors/chaperones who will be attending with their
students. Please email

until 4 pm,
