2008 - 2009 Rangerette Pom Squad

Purpose of the Squad
To represent Nathan Hale High School in a positive manner, promote school spirit,
pride and goodwill.  To perform for and entertain the school and community at football
and basketball half-times and to develop skills and advance abilities for the future.

Ticket sales benefit the Hale Pom Booster Club.

Tickets available for $5

Children 12 and under admitted free.  Ticket must be presented to receive store discounts.  Completed Prize Registration Form must be submitted at the door that evening to be eligible for door prizes and Grand Prize(s). Need not be present to win. Must be 18or older to win.

The Rangerettes took 3rd Place this summer at the UDA (Universal Dance Association) Camp held at Tulsa University.  They received a Blue Ribbon (highest) and a Superior Trophy for their Home Routine.  

Receiving a Superior Trophy gave the Rangerettes a bid to the National Dance Team Championship to be held at Disneyworld in Florida, January 30th through Feb. 3, 2009.  The girls also received a perfect 24 blue ribbons (highest) for their dances during the camp which also gave them another Superior Trophy! 

Kayla Landrum made All-Star for the second year in a row!! All three seniors received an application to try out for UDA to become a UDA instructor!  This is a very prestigious honor!  The girls also received a Spirit Stick! 

The Rangerettes will be working hard on fundraisers this year, in order to raise approximately $1,250 each to attend nationals.  The girls worked extremely hard to get this bid!  Contributions are certainly welcome!! 

We are also going to have a banner made that will list all of our sponsors.  This banner will be displayed at all Hale football, basketball games, and anywhere else we perform!   We will also make a t-shirt showing all of our sponsors.

RANGERETTE ACCOMPLISHMENTS

The Hale Rangerette Pom Squad received several awards at the 2007 UDA Summer Camp - A total of 34 blue superior ribbons ( the highest awarded) and 3 red ribbons.   They also received the Rock Star Award, a Spirit Stick and the Best Decorating Squad.

Kayla Landrum tried out for All-Star and made it!!    We went up against 18 squads which included, Union, Jenks, Memorial, Edison, Bentonville, Stillwater, Shawnee, and many more.
